At Silk Sponges, we aim to dispatch your order as swiftly as possible. Below is a general guide to our delivery timeframes and our policy on returns.


Estimated Delivery Times

Australia (Standard Delivery)

  • Metro areas: Usually 2–4 business days
  • Regional locations: Allow 3–7 business days
  • Remote areas: May take up to 10 business days

Orders are processed Monday to Friday. If your order is placed before 2:00 PM AEST on a business day, it will usually be dispatched the same day.

International Orders
Delivery times vary based on the destination and local postal services. You’ll receive a tracking number once your order ships.

Note: Delays caused by courier networks or customs are outside of our control, but we’ll always do our best to support you if anything goes off track.


Shipping Method

  • Most orders are sent via standard letter or parcel post through Australia Post or a reputable courier.
  • Larger orders (e.g., multiple box sets or bulk packs) are sent as tracked parcels and must be delivered to a physical street address – PO Boxes are not accepted for these shipments.

Shipping Costs

  • Free standard shipping on Australian orders over $35 AUD.
  • Orders under $35 are subject to a flat-rate shipping fee, shown at checkout.

Change of Mind & Returns

We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. That’s why you have 14 days from receiving your order to return eligible items.

To initiate a return:

  1. Email our team at silksponges@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We’ll guide you through the next steps and provide the return address.

Return Conditions:

  • Items must be unopened, unused, and in their original, undamaged packaging.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Once we’ve received and approved the return, your refund will be processed within 14 business days.

For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened or used items. Returns that do not meet these conditions may be declined.


When We Accept Returns

We’re happy to accept returns in the following cases:

  • The item arrived faulty or damaged
  • You received the wrong item
  • You’ve changed your mind within the 14-day return window and the item is unopened

  • Take your time adjusting — we’re here to support you!

We aim to minimise waste, so returned items that are used must be discarded. Please consider sustainability before returning used products.
